BALTIC CHAMBER PLAYERS
...is an ensemble of fine musicians of the northern part of Germany nearby the Baltic Sea
which perform in different formations. These musicians are leading members of the Philharmony of Northern Germany, the Lübeck Philharmony and the Dresden
Festival Orchestra.
They are well experienced in many other international chamber music groups and furthermore they perform as soloists and teach at colleges of music.
Beside the fulfilment of the highest claims of musical performance and the selection of highlights into repertoire there is the curiosity on unjustly unknown works
which makes an important point to the ensemble. A contemporary and historically informed performance of the works
is also very significant. The main focus of repertoire should be between about 1800 and present time.
